Electric Mirrors Question

Featured Replies

Simple question.

I got in the car (Octy Scout) last night to go out & the door mirrors were folded in. I asked the good lady why she folded them in on the drive & she had just got out of the car & locked it so how did she do it, can you automatically turn the mirrors in as you lock the car as it seems quite a useful feature. The mirror switch was set on L as normal to use the dipping mirror when reversing.

Hi Stuart - If you have electric folding mirrors, when locking the car, keep lock button on remote depressed until mirrors start to fold in.

Incidentally, when you switch on ign, mirrors will fold out, but you need to allow them to do this before you start the car, otherwise they end up half in/out!
