When fitting a new cruise control stalk must the steering wheel be removed prior? Was sent a new stalk, the upgrade to the one already on the car bt cannot for the life of me see how else id get teh old stalk off unless the steering wheel came off.

The steering wheel, Air bag and Trim will need to be taken off, so will the Control unit, slip ring, (Angle sensor, if you have ESP)
