Hey Guys,

Recently, when driving, the brake warning light has come on flashing with 3 beeps. The brakes do feel fine though .. I havent noticed an decrease in pressure when pushing the pedal. Having looked about, most people seem to suggest either brake fluid top up or a leak. I will get some fluid and address this. The hand break sensor/switch is also a suspect.. but having poked and prodded it .. I dont see an intermittent light flash at all. Anything else I need to watch out for or check ?

The other thing is that I no longer get the "lights left on" sound when I open the door. Indeed its caught me out a few times and I've flattened the battery !! I guess when you are used to a feature .. you dont realise how much you relied on it when it was working .. Could it be down to a setting in the car that I need to check or is something broken ? Any advice on this is appreicated.

Another niggle is that everytime I turn the ignition on, the rear window wiper just starts up for about 5 wipes and stops in random places on the rear screen. Any tips also appreciated

Finally, the rear boot doesnt always open up always UNTIL I open a rear passenger door .. Anyone heard of this one ?

Well the good news is that topping up the Brake Fluid seemed to fix the issue with the "Brake Light" and Beeping . So thanks for that advice guys. Almost used up a whole 1L bottle. :yes:

Any ideas on the other issues I am having ?

I ordered myself a VAG cable from Ebay to tinker ( carefully) with some of the settings , so any advice/tips on this are also welcome.
