Running in report

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Just a quick running in report on the first 10 days of the YetiSE 140. The car has proved to be comfortable and quiet with excellent ride and handling. I am running in the engine progressively( as I do with all my new cars) to the 1000 mile mark so I can start towing my boat. We are at 620 at present ( somewhat less than our usual 900 miles/week previously used to!) and you can feel the power potential of the engine developing.

The radio and cd system is very good considering I am used to high end HiFi equipment.

Incidentally, on a 45 mile run on the A 30 with long sweeping up and down hills at 55mph approximately on cruise control all the way the MFD registered 62.3 Mpg! This on a tight engine, which augers well for the future!

I see some members have now got or have build dates for their cars – good luck and happy motoring. Kind Regards Rod.

Help! How can I attach a photo from "my pictures" there seems much confusion?

Your doing well then. I managed to show 55 mpg on my MFD to day for a nano second, then I put my foot down again :giggle:

Pics: Get an account on a third party site like Photobucket, upload your pics, then paste yout link on here. Hope that helps

Hi Ray,

your Monster like mine is running the older CBDB 140; not quite as efficient as the later CFHC 140
