windows not opening and closing as they did.

Featured Replies

Hi i know this has been mentioned somewhere before so sorry, bat was disconected the other day and when you pull the window switch right up the window dosent close it's self anymore (or open) does the reset method of putting your key in the drivers door, sort this out as well??

Do you mean it doesn't move at all, or doesn't go on its own (one touch)?

If it's the latter, try holding the switch in the op position till you hear a clicking type noise from the door. If that doesn't work, run the window down, then up - then try the holding it thing.

If it was the former - could be one of many things sadly.

The holding it thing should work, works on a lot of cars

As said, holding should work, but, if it doesn't don't panic. These windows have a habit of sorting themselves out over a few trips.

No its moving just not the one touch thing.

Wind the window up and hold the switch in the up position for a few seconds, you may hear a faint click.

Tried that approach also tried holding it down as well should i try that reset key in door jobber/

As said, resetting one-touch control does require holding button down and holding it up a few times for both drivers and passenger window function to reset themselves.

Did you reset radio/CD password OK??

Does your passenger window switch work / Passenger window work?

i had this the other day, lost one touch, and lost passenger window simple fix........

Pop open fuse box cover....... bottom center fuse...... pull it out....... check it........Swap it/Put back in (dependent if blown)

By the looks of things the one touch is on the passenger window run
