Felicia headlamp levelling control

Featured Replies

Hi, new to the forum but would like some help please.

A friend has an R reg Felicia but the headlamps seem to be aimed too low. According to the Skoda dealer they are OK but when compared to the aim on 2 other cars they are definitely low. The levelling control seems to do nothing at all....a dealer has quoted around

Mine has given up adjusting leaving the headlights difficult to adjust within MOT limits via the adjusting screws. One hydraulic adjuster was b******d during an MOT test 2 years ago and the second wasn't working following an MOT test this year. :(

Does that mean the hydraulic levelling adjustment is checked on an MOT? And if it's not working can cause a fail?

The levelling system on my wifes Felicia hasn't worked for a couple of years. I did ask the dealer to look at it, but nothing was done, and it hasn't caused any bother with the MOT.

Very common for these to go.

You can adjust them manually at the back of the headlamp , so it wont fail the mot.

Its an expensive job to do.

So most people including myself just leave them.
