Hi all, just a quick question from a newbie

If I buy a cruise control stalk for my 56plate vrs diesel (PD I believe) does it just plug in or does it have to be set with the VAG-COM thing I've been reading about

I've been quoted £160 to get it fitted but have seen the genuine OEM stalks for £66 so if it's just a case of fitting it I can do that myself.

You will need to code it once fitted, it won't work otherwise

Thanks for the info mate, i take it you need someone with a VCDS to do that?

You would do mate, have a look in the VCDS forum, there's a list of forum members that offer help.
