VAG-COM help needed in Medway/Maidstone

Featured Replies

Hi

She has started to develop hesitation under light load, so when you pulling away gently , she seems to overcompensate and run richer, exhibiting higher revs than usual at that pedal position. Within 2 seconds, she will go back to normal revs for that pedal pressure and as a result it feels like she is kangaroo-ing.

At cold, if you press the accelerator gently, she hesitates.

Having read a few posts, I think it would be helpful to log the amount of air being measured under full load, at high rpms, as well as have a look at the trims currently applied.

Would anybody be available for this, in the medway/maidstone area?

TIA

so it's an Octavia RS 1.8T, engine code AUQ.

Is there any other information that might be needed in order to facilitate assistance?

I took the car to the garage, they found 1 spark plug had no gap so they re-gapped them all and they found 1 screw on the MAF missing.

Naturally this has not solved the problem. Would anybody be so kind to give me some direction or help me to locate a VAG-COM?

Hello,
