are these bushes worth lubing?

Featured Replies

been getting a slight squeak while driving and it could be the drop links or ARB?

i took a pic of what i think is the drop link, can someone confirm it is? and whats the best way to lubricate it? ptfe spray or white grease? and do i apply it directly onto the bush and along the entire link?

yes thats your drop link but ill be suprised if that was making your sqeeking noise,

at each end is a ball joint (think hip and pelivs joint) to prevent wear the rubber covers are filled with grease, there isn't really any need to grease the joint or rubbers and this will not help your problem,

try spraying your bottom arm bushes which attach to the subframe as they are more likely causes of your squeek

by bottom arm, do you mean the wishbone containing the front and rear(console) bushes?

the console bushes were replaced a few weeks ago and there's copper grease on them as lube.
