ABS pump gone!

Featured Replies

Hello guys, its been a while since my last visit to this forum.

recently my octy turned the e brake indicator light along with the abs light. On the manual it says that i should not drive and take the car to a shop ASAP. of course i didnt take the advice and i've been running with out ABS for 3 months now ( who needs abs anyway its overrated :p ).

Well im now looking for a new abs pump and i have seen that there are some with ESP and some w/o ESP.

The question is, can i use an ABS pump with ESP on my car taking into account that the original ABS module doesnt have it? or is it there a difference that will render it useless.

regards

I think westallc still has an ABS pump for sale. PM him.

i do indeed

without esp aswell

Take yours off and post it to BBA-Reman, they'll be able to fix it relatively cheaply, or tell you that it's not at fault.

Have you had the codes read, do you know for certain it's the pump not the loom?
