Ordered :D

Featured Replies

Well have ordered a FL Fabia today , Have gone for the 1.2 TSI DSG in white with black interior and Comet alloys. Also went a bit over the top with options and have ordered - rear electric windows, sunset glass, spare wheel, middle headrest, headlight washers, 4 spoke m/f wheel, bluetooth, heated seats, storage boxes and MDI :giggle:.

Decided not to bother with the cornering lights or TPM. Apparently the DSG should come with ESP and Hill hold control but we will have to see about hill hold given what has happened with the Superb II although it wasn't listed as an option when ordering. Wont be impressed if ESP is not on there. Only curious thing is that Skoda has apparently ditched the rear disc brakes and they now come with rear drums which work with ESP.

So feeling like a child in a sweet shop . Just have to wait until september now :'( can't wait.

Congrats  - we have a 1.2TSi DSG on order too, red with a white roof. We also ordered susnet glass, MFSW, heated seats and storage boxes but also had corner projector headlights (inc corner fog lights) and changed the alloys for the other option (Elba is it?). We toyed with some of the options you've gone for but thought we'd save a few quid as we hardly ever have anyone in the back (so rear leccy windows were out), I don't use my mobile phone much, let alone in the car and I've never had a puncture in nearly 20 years of motoring (watch us now get one once we have driven the Fabia!).

So is September a confirmed belivery date? We ordered mid-May and have been told our car is in the system and indicating a mid-September delivery, however this is likely to change by a week or two so we are hoping for a 1st Sep, or as near after as we can get.

Looks good in red and had a job deciding what colour I wanted looked at the rosso brunello and yellow as well but decided to use the £350 to have other options instead. Have had a puncture before and decided that would rather have a spare than not still annoying that you have to pay for one now :o. No confirmed date as of yet dealer has advised around september depending on what happens with the DSG as there is high demand which has been unexpected apparently also factory is down for three weeks soon. But should be in time for just after the new reg fingers crossed. If you ordered in May would be surprised if it isn't the beginning of sep.

I WANTED to order rear Leccies but Skoda UK stated that they were not available on the Greenline, although they only cost around £140 extra on the La- oops, sorry, Fabia. I wanted them as it is nice to be able to open both front and back to cool the car really quick or keep it cool without air-con, when sitting in the car teaching my learners.

I've ne ver had a puncture in nearly 20 years of motoring (watch us now get one once we have driven the Fabia)

Blimey, you must be the luckiest driver in the UK!

Based on the law of averages, a motorist gets a puncture every three years!!!

The lucky heather hanging from the rear view mirror works wonders! That and the wooden steering wheel.....
