I need to get my standard headunit\(none satnav) out to have a look at fitting an amp (for a carPC) but I cant get the facia off. I have unclipped it round the bottom & sides but I can't get the top off at all. I have tried a bit of force & jiggling it but it is stuck fast.

Does anyone have any tips for removing it without breaking it?

Finally, if I remove the stereo, will the rear parking sensors & temp displays etc all work desbite the top screen not being there?
