Do you have Maxidot? If so, then yes, go into setup and look for ATA Confirm, uncheck it.

If you don't have maxidot, find someone with VCDS or take it to the dealer

I like my chirp. If anything I'd like it even louder.

I leave for work before 6am every day so it's payback for my noisy neighbours.

But yes, as above it's easily done with maxidot.

I enabled the "chirp" on my wife's Fabia and discovered that it uses the horn rather a separate alarm sounder! We put up with funny looks for about 3 days before turning it off again :)
