Just like to say hello to everyone. Currently living in Ashford Kent.

I have recently purchased a 55 plate (feb 06) mk1, yes mk1 octavia vrs estate, ex-police car it came with light front damage which is in the process of being rectified, covered in glue down both sides and a couple of holes in the dash. On removal of the glue it has revealed that both rear doors are badly rippled and need replacing also.

On the plus side it has a new gearbox and it drives like new, also it goes like stink, a friend of mine has a 1.8t Bora sport and it wipes the floor with it, literally! I'm thinking that it may have been chipped / remapped?

Anyone else had any experience of an ex rozzer? (hence the user name!)

Also found it a little strange it being a 06 registered mk1?
