Featured Replies

Not what you think this one lol Had my fabia vrs now for 12 months and it doesn't seem to feel as sturdy and grounded as it did when I first got it, don't know whether this is just becuase I'm used to the ride but now I'd like to make the ride firmer and stick to the floor like it should. Any ideas thought about strut braces/rear ARB's even thought maybe sport suspension etc, any thoughts for a newbie modder?

ive just fitted a koni strt kit, and front cupra bushes. makes it feel like whole new car again, money well spent, it doesnt drop it on the ground like coilovers wud. i havent had a prob on speedbumps though :) i got rear ARB to fit this week so il let u know wot i think to that.

first mod i did was the front strut brace and i didnt notice a difference.

cheers for that boro, read a lot about uprating bushes particularly off the cupra need my drivers side one replacing what you talking to replace them all round???

i replaced the drivers side one few months back with standard part but then i got new koni strt kit so thought ill put cupra bushes in aswell. hardest part for me was getting new cupra bushes in but nothing some good lube and a hammer didnt fix lol.

just depends how hands on you are. i paided £18 for both bushes and fitted myself at work. say about 1hour a side.

i know theres a few guides kicking about on here if u needed some help. u can do bushes while still on car or remove. ive done it both ways and found it quicker and better to remove.

deffo improvment on the standard ones.

good luck B)

nice one yeah i'm pretty hands off when it comes to sorting stuff out on my car i can change fuses thats about as far as i go you order them from the seat dealer then or you find them on ebay or something???

i got the cupra bushes from TPS they deal with all VAG parts. but seat dealers just the same :)

ud be best getting a garage to fit them for u then

website? how much they cost? yeah know a garage that can fit em you just get front bushes or you got them all round???

i just got the front wishbone console bush,

the front wishbone has a ball joint bolted to it.

a bush at the front

and the round bush at the rear

the cupra bushes replace the rear bush on the front wishbone.

u can get them from awesome GTI webite for about £20 i think, but if u get local seat deal just pop in there probs around same price.
