Dealer Discounts

Featured Replies

Am thinking of ordering new Yeti 2.0Tdi 4x4 DSG - thing is that DrivetheDeal have discount of nearly £2.8k off list. Obviously they're sourcing from dealer so does anyone know if a) dealers will match DTD and B) which one's.

Anyone know what the lead time on one of these is at moment ?

suggest Sinclair Skoda as very flexible and willing to cooperate. Based in Swansea.

Have found another online broker - CarQuake who have £3,750 off the car I'm thinking of ordering:

Yeti 2.0Tdi CR140 4x4 DSG Elegance - at £19,275 for the car before any extras. Have googled and they seem to get excellent reviews and feedback although this is clearly a car that is being sold as a fleet car. Anyone had any experience of these guys ?

DriveTheDeal and Broadspeed are also offering circa 10% discount.

Sounds like a great deal as long as you are the first owner on the V5C. If not go with DtD where you certainly are the first owner.

so have found out that with CarQuake you are 2nd owner on log book - but at £1,000 less than DTdeal. So would an extra entry on log book really make that much difference ?

Check with your insurance company, you won't have the logbook for a few months as I think they hold the logbooks back to get around certain rules.

I think officially as far as DVLA are concerned you aren't the registered keeper of the vehicle initially and also unless you tell your insurance company this your cover might be void.
