Rear washer problem

Featured Replies

My rear washer jet was always horribly weak, and it moved with the wiper which after some research ive found out it shouldn't!

Anyways, i pulled of the trim from the tailgate and had a look around and when i use the washer, it was spraying all through the boot - which is a pain to say the least :) I've pulled the motor etc apart and it turns out the tube that carries the water through has twisted and split, hence where all the water was coming from.

I've read that there are repair kits available for these things, any idea where i can get one from?

Cheers!

Yes there is a repair kit for the motor/washer pipe. See this post: Huzzah! My rear wiper jet no longer rotates with the arm

This saves you £80-90 for a new motor/gearbox.

Ahhh thanks! Lets just hope the wiper arm doesn't give me much trouble coming off :)
