Is there a way to get the bigger rear backrest out? its got the middle seat belt mechanism in it and its fixed to the chassis?

Well there is a bolt type thing connecting it I believe but I couldn't get access to it so I cut the middle seat belt with a Stanley knife (!) and took those bad boys out! Weight saving ftw :p

Yes there's a bolt at the bottom of the base which goes in to the chassis which attaches the belt and buckle. You need a 17mm socket to get it out.

Ah yes i see it now, weight saving is right they are quite heavy! thanks guys

as above just unbolt it from the floor and you'll get them out easily
