Temp loss of power on vrs?

Hi all,

The other half's Fabia VRS has lost power on 2 occasion's now for a period of say 5 sec's each time. Car is being driven normally and there must have been approx 1000 miles between each incident. Basically the traction control light flashes on and the power goes totalling. Then after say 5 sec's it goes out and all is normal again. Has anyone experienced this or any idea's?

Sounds like it could be the ABS/ASR sensor falsely sensing wheel slip/spin and cutting power to the wheels.

+1 for an ABS sensor playing up.

Hi fella's, thanks for the replies. I'll take it to a mate to get in plugged in and see if there are any error codes. Fingers crossed it's just that.
