Very sensitive steering?

Featured Replies

Hi!

I've got my Fabia Estate 1,4TDI last saturday an have been driving about 1200km this week :o , and i have notised that it have a very sensetiv stearing at high speeds 100km/h and up. I am not used to this from my earlier cars. Is it possible to do something about this?

And the motor i runs alitle un even when standing still

Exuse my french, i'm Norwegian

the tech gurus on here may correct ths but here goes....

the steering effort can be altered but it needs to be done by someone with vag-com etc, also check your tyre pressures. New cars get delivered with higher than normal pressures and this often need lowering.

The uneven idling is probably due to the new emissions standards, nothing to worry about

Oh and Welcome!!

How would the new emissions standards have to do with uneven ideling?

they run the engines on a very lean fuel mix at idle to get a very low emission hence the slightly rough idle.
