PO172 - Engine light - System Too Rich (Bank 1)

00301 - ABS Return Flow Pump damage

Any inputs as to what cud be the potential issues and where shud i start investigating will be very helpful !!

* Leaking or contaminated fuel injectors

* Leaking fuel pressure regulator

* Low fuel pressure or running out of fuel

* Vapor recovery system

* Air leaks after the MAF

* Vacuum leaks

* Improper seated engine oil dipstick

* Stuck EGR valve

* Oil overfill

* Cam timing

* Cylinder compression

* Exhaust leaks before or near HO2Ss.

* Fuse(s) faulty

* Wiring and/or Connector(s) from/to Return Flow Pump (V39) faulty

thanks mate, i am investigated this, can anybody recommend a good skoda/vw mechanic in reading/ berkshire..

I would want to avoid the big names ( obv to avoid a big bill )..
