As title really, looking for some front seat covers for my fabia VRS SE ( dont want to dirty the leather ! ) Would prefer ones with vrs logo on them and not the cheapy ones that are on ebay.

I've got these on mine www.rhinouk.co.uk I got the ones for sports seats which are waterproof . The fit the seats themselves well but they are a little baggy around the base because of the CD player and cubbyhole.

Got my 'Mucky Joe's' covers from 'HATCHBAG' when car was new in 2005. (Search for ' HATCHBAG ' on Internet )

Seat covers do really fit the bucket seats of vehicle.

Front fitted seat covers around £70

Rear fitted seat covers around £72

Allows rear split seats to operate normally without fouling seat covers.

Now 5 years later no tearing /fraying visible, although the biege colour has faded where the sun has touched.

Matt biege plastic outside appearance, allows seat material to breathe and not sweat, almost waterproof, takes a while for liquid spillage to soak through ie kids orange squash/water.

I do believe now different colours are available.

Easily removed for cleaning, elasticated edges NO METAL CLIPS.

Washing machine washable at 30 no problem, minor dirt marks removed with damp cloth.

So expensive but I fully recommend them.

Add, no other connection with this company now or in the past.

Do be aware that putting a cover on top of the seat doesn't protect it from wear. It just makes it look like it does. The fabric on your trousers is almost certainly smoother than the fabric on the inside of the seat cover and it will still rub as you move about in the seat, and with it being smooth leather underneath, it will almost certainly slip around. All you are doing is getting another piece of cloth to wear on the seat surface.

It won't even help with stain prevention as the leather would just wipe off but the fabric will hold the stain. Sorry, but I don't see it myself.

No-one is looking to stop wear, just everyday soiling protection by clothes worn or grand-children's feet on back of front seats etc.

It's unfortunate leather will inevidently crack in your Skoda in time, unless a superior high grade leather was used such as in a Rolls Royce etc, sorry.

My SE's now on 50k and the leather is still in great condition. All I've done is put some Gliptone cleaner and conditioner on them every few months. I do keep a bottle of Zanio "leather in a bottle" in the door pocket for those emergency top-ups, though!
