Because Doom3 has made me soil my current ones :eek: What a bloody scary game!!!

I had to put it down as I would actually like to sleep tonight (time for some happy programs). Graphics are excellent, the gameplay rocks and the AI actually has intelligence!!! Get it now otherwise you are missing out honestly.

tis good and if played in dark on your own with sound high then pant filling is almost certain

Well I am playing the original Ultimate Doom as part of a special edition Trilogy (Doom 3 should be Doom 4 as there was 3 original games!). Graphics not as good as Doom 3, but game play much better and you don't need a bloody super computer to play it.

I don't know about that one William, as I have played the original doom series and I think the game play in Doom3 is on par or even better. For example having rooms that just contain monsters and nothing else???? With the old Doom the AI was pretty predictable but with Doom3 you don't know what the hell (excuse the pun) is going to happen next.

Thought doom was a bit predictable, if its dark theres gonna be a baddy there, and if theres a closed door, just get your trigger finger ready. Bit too closed to apply anything surprising - but graphically (when it works) its quite good.

Doom3 made me jump and swear several times and was quite enjoyable...but HL2 is much better

Stuck, twa big beasties that come out of the warp screen - just cant get past them, sorry but visited the cheat site, and that tells you to hit them 7 times each with rockets, Ha 2 seconds i'm dead. :confused:

Doom 3 isn't scary. Alien vs Predator, played in the dark, is scary. Resident Evil on the GameCube is scary (Playing alone in the house at night - I had to switch it off because I was getting so paranoid). System Shock 2 is scary. Silent Hill is scary.

Not really. Wjoever thought of having it that you either can see but are defenseless or you are blind but armed was not thinking straight. Just crap.

Yeah - right at the start of AVP2 when the ducting falls through the ceiling panel and looks just like an alien - inspired. Is System Shock 2 still worth playing today (I missed it when it came out)?
