Build week 26

Featured Replies

Was confirmed week 26 build by my dealer.

I contacted them today to be told it is build week 38 at the moment..emoticon-0124-worried.gif

How can this be?

I would understand a week or so but not 12 weeks...!! That is 3 months.

I have a feeling i may cancel and buy a different car altogether..

That is a crazy time difference.emoticon-0101-sadsmile.gif

I had to wait 10 weeks for my Fabia but then again it was the SE.

Have you tried contacting another dealer to see if it's a general supply issue?

Contacted the dealer and they are saying it is a general thing at the moment.

They have contacted Skoda Ireland asking if they could get it pushed forward for me as I need transport due to being a disabled driver.

They are awaiting a reply,

They offered me a loan of a car until my own one arrives.

But here is the thing.

Here in Ireland the new reg starts 1st January until Dec. 31st.

Would I be mad to reg a new car in October 2010??

I am so disappointed at the moment. emoticon-0106-crying.gif
