Cheap and Cheerful iPod Solution

Hi,

I have been mulling over how to play my music in the Yeti. Thought about doing the MDI myself, thought about an SD card. In the end I bought the £3.50 audio cable from Skoda (the belkin cable sold by Apple and others is £12.99 and up). Plugged in my iPod Touch, enabled Aux input in the Bolero, selected a playlist and shuffle. Result, my music playing on Bolero. The audio cable plugs in to the headphone socket on the iPod Touch but the quality is fine for a car (we're not going to get hi-fi in a car). I already have an in car charger so can charge the iPod as well.

I would imagine streaming the music via Bluetooth as decribed elsewhere is an even cheaper option!!! emoticon-0140-rofl.gif Though yours is pretty close!

Unfortunately I've got an iPod Touch 1, no bluetooth, or I'd have gone that way.

Hi,

I just got an FM transmitter/charger and tuned it to match a chosen frequency on one the FM radio channels, and it works perfectly. Good quality sound and it keeps the Ipod charged. If you use the rear power source, can't be seen from outside the car.
