hi guys and girls im really sorry if iv ****ed anyone off by posting on the wrong section if i have! but iv bought a pd 100 polo and im looking for 170 + nothing outrageous :)

iv heard alot of talk about you skoda converting pd 100 fabia to 170+ any information on mods required would be highly appreciated!

iv going for my p torque remap in a couple off weeks when i get round to booking it in

Thanks In Advance

Danny.

PD130 nozzles and PD130 turbo, and a remap = sorted. :)

I would hold off on the remapping as that will need to be done once the injectors and turbo are fitted..... It would be like painting a rotten wooden fence with gloss paint, then thinking about sanding and priming... You just know its going to end up needing gloss paint again. Know what I mean? ;)

I like the analogy!

devonutopia thank you for the fast reply really appreciate that i was told by jabbasport that the bottom end of the engine is weaker? so running 170 will still be safe bearing in mind my polo has done 84000 miles? and the transmission i already have the sachs clutch is that enough and last thing lol will brakes have to be upgraded?

regards danny

and i too love the analogy :D

Its a tiny bit weaker, but will still cope with 250bhp odd. Would need a clutch soon after 170hp though.

Mileage is not an issue. 84k is just run-in, as long as its been well serviced.

Brakes, suspension, etc is all optional. however, running +70% BHP you really should have more stopping power / better tyres too.

do you know any members on here who have done this similar conversion to their fabia or polo or ibiza?

stronger unit

and then a custom map keeping torque low!!
