Skoda UK wrote to me

So I sent Skoda an email asking about what they will do because my delivery went from 16 to 28 weeks and why have I not had any updates or any explanation from them as to why... Took them two weeks to reply (via email) and they said they were very sorry yadda, yadda. They also said once my car is delivered they will look into a "gesture of Goodwill". I suspect a free cuddly toy is coming my way, but time will tell.

BUT yesterday TWO A4 envelopes arrived at home from Skoda. Thinking it is part of this complaint I opened the thinner one: "Thank you for your interest in the Skoda Yeti, but due to the brochure being at the printers we can't send you one.... yadda, yadda..." Eh?!?! I ORDERED a car two months ago and asked for a brochure way back THEN! Why send me this now?!!? What is inside envelope two?! The brochure that is "in printing" and is unavailable according to letter 1... Who is running that place I ask you?!!?! I sometimes feel I just want to go and shake their whole building to just get them all to wake up a bit.

Hi 900000,

the sytem is just not 'joined up' - different depts dealing with the same client. It is so easy to sort this with a good IT system and save them lots of money BUT very frustrating for you . When you think about it the staff who are sending out information that is no longer usefull could be making the very calls that would give you a better view of SUK.
