Thought I'd get myself registered on here as I'm tempted by either a Fabia vRS or a new Octavia Diesel. I reckon it'll help me to get to know the Skoda brand.

Currently drive my wife's cast off (Focus 1600 petrol) as she's just had a brand new Vauxhall Zafira GSi. I miss my previous car (a Focus 1800 TDCi 115) but am tempted to defect away from Ford.

We did a test drive in the Focus TDCi before getting the Fabia and the Ford was a poor second (apart from the headed screen, which I would have loved).

Yeah, the heated screen on the Ford's is excellent.

My wife also love's heated seats and I'm pleased to see these are a reasonable cost option on the Fabia vRS.

Welcome, Peter. I have driven most of the Focus range and like almost all of them. The Fabia vRS has a great reputation with our members and is well worth a test drive.
