Nock/click from drivers side wheel

Featured Replies

As the title says,

I asked a while ago about a click/nock type noise from the front drivers side wheel when setting off from a stand still.

Wwell today I have replaced the bottom ball joint and droplink on both sides and the noise is still there !

When the car is at a stand still and I turn the steering wheel sharply left to right the noise is very noticable, could it be the track rod end thats fooked ?

Thanks

maybe the spring on you coilies sticking??

or maybe pipe off turbo knocking on the driveshaft?

or console bushes

Naa its not the spring on the coilovers, I gave them a bit of a "service" today aswell and greased all the splines and lifted it up to a much more practical height !!!

Driveshaft is no where near any pipes

And the bushes have been in for ages now and not made a noise before, there has only been a clicking/nock on set off for a few weeks now !

I think I'll replace the track rod ends and see if it goes away, hopefully.....

Cv joint then?

Cv joint then?

I don't think it is as surely this would make a clonking noise when cornering ?

If its not the track rod end then I'll do the cv joint and if its not that then maybe wheel bearing ?

List could be endless really lol

Try it with foot on the brakes. Might simply be pads clicking in the caliper.
