Carbon Dashboard retrim

Featured Replies

Sorry mate didn't get chance. I'll look today

Sorry this has taken so long

Anyway here is how to remove the door card.

Using a Trim tool carefully start to prize apart handle from this slot. Once done continue using the trim tool till you can get hold of it with your hand then gently but firmly pull the handle off

Inside the handle you will see 2 Torx Screws (T20 iirc) Undo those. Would be helpful to have a Magnetic Screwdriver.

Once that is done there are 2 Torx Screws (T15 iirc) at the bottom of the door card. One just below the Speaker and the other in line with the Tweeter

Once they are removed the door card will come off. Ensure you disconnect the Speaker, The Door Open warning light, the tweeter and the electric windows. (If you have normal windows you may find another screw inside the winder but im not sure)

Then you can get to the back of the trim which is held in by 4 or 5 screws.
