Physical fitment issues aside, does anyone know if the instrument panel from an early 1.3 Felicia are compatible electronically with a late 1.3 Favorit (MPI)? The rev counter and fuel gauge on my 'K' reg Favorit have stopped working (they've never worked as long as I've had the car, in fact), but the closest match I could find at our local scarp-yard was a pair of 'M' reg 1.3 Felicias. Going from memory, the connectors on both cars look very similar - a single, yellow 8-pin plug.

Otherwise, can anyone offer some pointers on fixing the Favorit rev-counter and fuel gauge?

The Felicia dash has three connectors - one yellow, one white, one black. I'd be surprised if they worked straight off as my distant memory of my Fav is that the connector was competely different (electrical changes were one of the biggest improvements between Fav and Fel, IMO), but mine was an early fav, so possibly they made those changes when the Mk 2 Fav came about?

I am also interested in this question ,I know for sure the dashboard fits into everything perfectly,it`s the wiring I have no clue and seriously doubt would just plug in,when I changed my 91 favorit interior to the mk2 black interior I had to replace the mk2 dashboard chip with the old one.
