Rear bumper protective strip

Has anybody tried to fit a Skoda original protective strip on the rear bumper. The original fitting instructions say you should use a Betaprimer and a special bonding cement. Are they absolutely necessary and are there any alternatives cause I'm sure they cost a fortune and I only will use a little bit.

I bought the original skoda plastic bumper strip which comes with double sided tape to stick it on with ,i cleaned the bumper with some detergent and stuck it on its been there for 3 months so far without coming off thank goodness

If it does come adrift it's only bodyline double sided tape though.

Hi good people! I just updated my car to SW 332 (came with 330). I have Superb combi 2023 Style, but it has Columbus (bigger) MIB3 infotainment. First I wanted to update maps, as it was V25.5. So, I've downloaded 26.2 (latest from https://updateportal.skoda-auto.com/), added it to the USB-A stick, but nothing happened, no notification. Left the stick inside and in the meantime got trial for Infotainment online package. Now it's saying map version 26.6 (despite online showing 26.2), so what happ

Have a listen to the audio & share your thoughts. I've replaced both wishbones & anti role bars a couple of months ago. This rattle started about a week ago & is progressively getting worse. The right hand tyres is wearing on the edges, both inside & outside. Turning the teering wheel on a flat road doesn't create the sound. Only when driving over drains or potholes. I've had on ramps and had the wheel off. I can't see anything obvious Skoda front suspension rattle.mp3

I've bought an aftermarket tablet for dash mounting and don't want to create future problems with removal and potential damage. I've used typical mounting tape but when subjected to cabin heat it 'un sticks' and flops forward. I'd appreciate advice on a recommended product.

Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone here has come across this exact issue, because after 7 months and multiple visits, neither my dealer nor Škoda’s technical support has been able to identify the cause. Car: Škoda Superb Sportline, 2021, 200kW Problem: When braking, the side sensors intermittently trigger a warning that there is an obstacle very close to the car — even though there is nothing there.
