I need it to keep track of what sites are accessed while I'm not using my laptop. It's my laptop but while I'm in work I let the rest of my family use it. I picked up some spyware a few days ago and I know it's from nothing I've been on. Just want to see if anyone is accessing anything dodgy. It has to be able to log sites that are accessed even if web history in any browser is deleted.

If everyone has admin rights, then anything will be worthless.

There's only one login and that's mine. Even if I could see when sites were accessed it would help.

As has been said in prevoius post, having Admin rights gives other uses ability to remove browsing history easily which means you would have to do an awful lot of digging to reveal sites visited by other parties.

Best to setup another profile and create a policy for minimal access rights etc

Can your internet router log what sites have been visited? Most can... It may be worth setting it up there as then people can clear all the history they like on the laptop but if they can't logon to the router it'll still be there...

use openDNS and then look at the logs they provide. Would only work from this point onwards, and not historically though.
