2011 the UK adopts daylight running lights so all new manufactured Skcoda models will have them. The time yours is being manufactured is just right time to be one of the first batches, the nits took the facility off my May manufactured Roomster. Yours will really look great.

any more info on this, still waiting for a build week

As far as I am aware the DRLs on the VRS will be staying where they are between the headlights and the fogs. I think the salesmane is getting confused with other models that are getting DRLs fitted as standard and will be in the fog light locations I believe.

I think your right, as any Audi with DRL's are built into xenon's units only

They all are, Just the xenons get the LED DRL's where as the halogen units just get halogen DRL's. Both in the same place in the headlight unit though

Yes sorry should have said LED strip DRL's, GF has A3 Sport-line convertible but ran out of money for the Xenons so just has the one halogen DRL in each unit.

So if I have these on my VRS then they will be in the lights or in the bumper? by the time Skoda build my VRS it will prob be due a shape change again!!!!!

The DRLs for the VRs (no matter if it has Xenons or not) is in the bumper. I do not believe any VRS cars will have them in the actual light assemblies.

Went to a dealers yesterday and all cars by law will have to have DRL from early next year, the VRS I had a look at had them as standard, the salesman said they are all coming through as standard with them on now.

i have a Production date, week commencing 26/07/2010 how long will it take to turn around ? planned for the 1st of sep. (vRS RED leather, Xenons)

Here in Australia the story is that the 2011 VRS will have sat nav standard but not the Columbus system which will still be an option.

Looks like the DRL's for the 2011 Octavia Scout will be in the fog lights. Are they in place of the fogs, or in addition to them if ordered as an option?.They are probably the same as the Yeti and have to be selected.

I do not think DRL,s in th Fog light are a good idea , they can be confused with the fog lights by other road users.
