There seems to be a rattle from the drivers side of the car; I have had it up on the ramps and looked at the gear box/subframe linkage and the rest of the potentially squeaky rattly things under there (steering suspension etc) and all seems tight - subframe gearbox linkage arm squeeks a bit but not enough to concern me. I think it might be coming from in the car but dont know where to begin to look - has anyone come across a rattle from the dash/interior trim that is fairly common on this car? Its really beginning to annoy me now.......

The dash has loads of rattles, also I believe the driver's seat mountings can cause problems - might be worth tightening/greasing that up?
