They can and do charge up to £70 for a diagnostic scan so anything up to that depending on the dealer.

If they are servicing the car anyway (so doing a diagnostic scan anyway) they would probably do it FOC - or say it can't be enabled! :wonder:

i'm in Bradford

it's at the dealers getting the slip ring behind the steering wheel replaced, while it's there i thought i'll get it turned on.

Dealer did my mark 1 vrs for free when it was booked in for its service a few years back
