FAO Those who have boost gauges.

Featured Replies

How have you run the piping into the car!? Drilled holes, or is there existing holes that can be used!? May be fitting a boost gauge

Grommet into engine bay under/behind glovebox. Rear washer pipe runs through it as stock. :)

I see, thanks!! hopefully my pipe thingy will reach

If its a narrow rigid wall plastic pipe, having it go along the back of the engine bay, through the hole and back toward the driver's side will not be a problem. My gauge reads accurately all the way from the tap on my EGR delete.

I ran the piping for mine through the drivers side with the bonnet cable, it was a pain in the arse but I didn't fancy running the pipe to one side of the car then back over !

I've got a 35 psi auto gauge with a blue back light.

Not the most aesthetically pleasing gauge install, but perfect height/position to monitor whilst driving.

Thats clever, did you make the centre vent yourself? wonder if you can fit two gauges in that space..

Congrats Warwick, one that doesnt look like an 80's lamp install :p

I left mine under the bonnet to avoid fannying about, it was simply used for RR setup.

a few good ideas there chaps, anybody fitted 1 on the 'A' pillar? emoticon-0148-yes.gif

80s lamps FTW! I only wish I had been monitoring the EGTs when the turbo popped...... :giggle:

Where would the exitement be in that, best letting these things come as a surprise :p

yeh that was custom made by my mate www.mirrorfinishes.co.uk

you would need to take away alot of the plastic two fit two in there and it might cause it not to hold its shape propperly

i guess you could make one out of some sheet metal as i just modified the original
