Hi all -having owned a Felicia diesel estate for over a year, it's about time I started a thread on here!!

Are all Briskodians set onthe newer models or are there some diehards who have learned to enjoy the foibles and charm of the originals?

Welcome to Briskoda. I own a Felicia as well as an Octavia. The former serves as a runabout but I can't get excited about it. The Octavia is another matter entirely! :D

My comment was really aimed at how little there is on this site about the earlier skoda models. Surely you run the risk of alienating people who have stuck with the company over many years in favour of those who've jumped on the bandwagon in recent times!!

As for the Octavia -a colleague has a 1.9 turbo diesel & is less than chuffed at having to replace the turbo at 80K.

Can I suggest that some of the older material on the old site be incorporated into this "shiny new" one?
