Reviving tired-looking green calipers

Anyone out there have any cheap solutions to tidy up my tatty-looking brake calipers?

They work fine but the green paint is starting to come off especially around the corners; I don't really want to pay to replace them just because they look a bit pants so any cheapish solutions would be appreciated!

Hammerite Green paint if you can find it.

Yep Green smoothrite is the exact colour You can get it on ebay but not sold new anymore on places like Halfords.

I used the little plasticote pots you get from B&Q and wasnt too bad..think the shade was "Jade"

my red brembos and rears are now going black as i am fed up cleaning them, am sure red looks dirtier quicker than black....i hope anyway!

If you are looking for a nice finish then look into getting them powerd coated

****. I'm driving my early 2020 Octavia (mkIII) Scout (2.0L diesel DSG-7) through France, and only after I filled up (31L of the 55L tank) from the "diesel" pump I noticed the marking "B10" which apparently really exists about only in France, I'd never heard of nor seen before, and is officially (per Skoda) not compatible with this engine. I don't find "B10" mentioned at all in the forums, and I find only few, vague mentions online in general about how B10 diesel (90% mineral diesel +10% bio d

Ok, Matrix Leds are fantastic. When driving on A or B class roads they working perfect, illuminates both sides of the road and cuts out cars at the front or oncoming traffic. I've never been flashed. When I tried to use them on motorway it's a different story. Right headlamp is illuminating as expected but left one doesn't illuminate side of the road but only gives a lot of light far at the front of the car.. Car has black oil in the water except oil cooler failed this has been changed but they still oil in the water car does not over heat or misfire still has all it power could it be the oil from the failed oil cooler still in the system or fail head gasket or crack in the engine somewhere thanks

Neigbour with a Fabia Mk4 called me recently, his drivers door and the rear (right) passenger doors were partly open with what looked like a stainless steel rod jamming the two doors in their partly open/closed positions, to make a long story short, it was the door umbrella that apparently had shot out somehow or other and jammed the two doors, he had partially opened the back door to let his dog out I think and had let his own door partially open, or something like that. Hi all, My father owns a 2015 Superb MK2 facelift with the dual bootlid. A couple months ago he found a lot of water in the boot, and ever since the tailgate won't open. The switch on the right hand side for the dual lid works, but the center switch doesn't do anything. Our mechanic reckons it's the lower tailgate actuator. I'm just having some trouble finding a replacement online, if anyone could supply a part number I'd really appreciate it. Any advice is also appreciated. Thanks all.
