Just thought I'd post to recommend the South Manchester ChipsAway agent, Tony Gould. He attended to my Furby today to fix damage caused by vandals and an alloy kerbed by my good self. He spent nearly 6 hours on it, top notch results, can't tell anything was ever amiss, and cost only 140 squid for the bodywork and alloy. Bargain! (And to think the Skoda dealer wanted 900 squids!!! :eek: ) He even gave me the left over paint to use if I need it, and, best of all........ a free mouse mat, air freshener and key ring!!!

How much do they charge typically - eg to touch up about 5 stonechips on the bonnet ? And do they just touch-in with colour or fill the chips first ?

Shamus - They fill the chips then respray over - you can't tell there was ever anything wrong.

Steve - Yep, know Alty pretty well, used to live over that way in Timperley. Tend to go to there quite often, will have to keep an eye out for you!
