Skoda felicia brake warning light

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

first post on this forum

Im having a problem with my Skoda felicia Pickup 1.9d (Its actually a vw mk2 caddy pickup but same truck etc)

The brake system warning light - (!) is on and i cant figure out why.

Thought the sensor on the brake fluid bottle may of been broke but i have replaced that and its still on.

Brake fluid level is fine.

Brake pads have only been changed recently.

Its not the handbrake ether because the handbrake has a separate (P) light and that works fine.

Any ideas of what it could be?

Many thanks

If brake pad thickness sensor earths, it will trigger warning light.
