It came with mats!

Featured Replies

Hi Folks

I picked up my third Octy vRS yesterday, A white CRi hatch after previously having two race blue TFSi's ( one hatch + one estate). Still getting used to the transition back to driving a diesel ( had two furby vRS's) so the CRi is feeling a bit sluggish at the moment but i'm sure i'll soon adapt. The only other dynamic change I've noted is that the brakes are much sharper, the first few times I touched the brakes my head nearly hit the windscreen!! I wouln't have thought there would be much difference and I had no concerns over the TFSi's stopping power.

I didn't realise until after I ordered it that mats had been dropped from the vRS spec, so I took the old ones out of the estate, only to find the new one came with mats!! I bought the car from Horton's who previous briskodians have recently reported to have been made to pay for them, so what is going on?

We know more about the cars in this Forum than the average dealer does.

My dealer (Palmers Watford) said my vRS currently on order will come with mats, so no need to purchase as an extra...

Who have you dealt with at Palmers?

I am waiting for an L&K ordered early May.

I dealt with Jay

My TSi didn't come with mats so I ordered them as extras, but the dealer informed me wouldn't charge me for them anyway.

Nice one matey!!

We collected ours from Rainworth last night, had to ask if the mats fitted were the vRS ones as no logo on them anymore

Cheers

Yup picked up my Vrs estate this morning from Benfield Skoda and it came with the mats.

C'mon folks - lets have some pictures of these shiny new cars! Gives those of us on the waiting list something to look at

Also got free mats with my vRS at Palmers (last Thurs).

Jay did a fantastic job all round. Would highly recommend the dealership.

Very happy new owner! Pics to follow soon!

Is your vRS a silver estate? Because if it is, Jay showed it to me to see what the leather seats were like - it was being PDI'd while I was at the deadlership.

Good marketing strategy.

If it looks too good to be true then it usually is.

A few crumbs for the rich man's table and every one is eating out of his hand.

It's so easy to becomes excited over a very small token that it can easily lead to overlooking

something of more importance.
