Parrot Mki 9000 Vrs Mk1 install

Featured Replies

Hi all.

I have just installed a Mki 9000 into my 54 plate Octavia VRS (mk1). The parrot works fine, can dial and receive calls all day long not a problem! But everything I have read says that the parrot should say "GoodBye" when the ignition is turned off... Mine doesn't!

I have swapped the 12v live (red) and Ignition (Orange) fuse holders over and still I don't get a Goodbye - I can hear the Parrot "click" and the bluetooth connection on my phone disconnects fine.

So, should the Mki 9000 actually say "GoodBye" over the cars speakers, or is the Goodbye message for the MKi's with displays?

Has anyone else got a Parrot in a Mk1 Octavia that says Goodbye!?

Thanks

Rob

The MKi9000 does not say "Goodbye" - Mine certainly never has.

It's only the MKi9100 & MKi9200 with the displays that say "Goodbye" on the display
