Unwell 1999 Felicia Fun

Featured Replies

Since fixing the cold start problem I had with help from Briskoda, my Fun has run really well up until a couple of weeks ago, where it didn't want to run from cold, now it revs on its own with no throttle applied, sometimes up to 3000rpm. Even whilst driving the revs stay high and it almost drives itself. Today for whatever reason the revs started to hunt from 1500rpm to about 2000rpm and my throttle pedal became more of an on/off switch with the car jerking when the throttle was pressed or released. Any help is much appreciated, B)

faulty throttle body i'm afraid.. :wonder: fairly common too, they cost an absolute mint to buy new so it's worth checking out a few breakers yards.

Thanks for that, it was replaced last year trying to solve another problem but it has given up already, think I have the original one somewhere so will put that back on and return the new one as it is under warranty still
