Just started looking into insurance quotes with my planned modifications (312mm brakes, and a shark remap).

I nearly fell off my chair laughing at Gocompare...

Probably double the value of the car

lmao had the same thing when i was looking for quotes for my modified octy went to brentachre in the end they were alot cheaper than anywhere else, knew what they were talking about too

Price comparison sites are great for standard cars, not so good for anything modified.

Feel free to give my company a try, tel: 0208 3645500, we offer a discount to Briskoda members.

For modded cars try Greenlight

Used them for years when I had my modded fords, cossy included. Very competitive and very helpful if you have a claim. They only deal with 'performance' and modded cars.
