hi hope someone can help. i have a 2003 octavia tdi and when i pull up to lights the engine is idle ing normally but then for no apparent reason it goes over a thousand revs and seems to stay there unless i press the accelerator a couple of times and then it goes back down. anybody had this or know what makes it do it please

Throttle pedal control module. About £90 fitted, takes 20 minutes.
