Do skoda make the above or is it just the estate in diesel

According to Skoda UK, it's available only as an estate, but with 3 engine choices: 1.8TSi petrol, 1.6TDi or 2.0TDi.

Certainly it's currently only available in estate form.

I seem to remember reading about a hatchback 4x4 though - it's possible they used to make one, if so there might be some on the second hand market?

The 4x4 hatchback was available as a MK I Octavia, but not the Mark II... Shame really, as I reckon a 1.8TSi 4x4 with sports suspension and a remap would be one hell of a sleeper car

id get the 4x4 hatchback and swap the engine to a k04 TFSI. now that would be an awesome car, 360hp and haldex AWD. yes please

I did it with a Mk 1 4x4 hatch, IHI turbo conversion, uprated internals, TT box, KW V3 suspension AP 4 pot brakes, custom ARB's etc etc , one hell of a car Finished second on one of the cannonballs
