Ordered my highly specd up L&K on the 4th of May.

Took two weeks before I had a confirmation of delivery to dealer w/c 23/8 (16 weeks)

Agreed with teh dealer that they could hold the car for a week so that I could get a 60.

Just had an email from the dealer telling me that the car is now build week 33 - 16/8

I have sent a stinking email to tell them that I agreed the order based on having hte car by 6/8

Asked them what they are going to do about all the additional costs involved - extra months finance on current car, raod tax, possible two new tyres, any other wear and tear whilst I am doing 4k a month on a car with 84,000 miles.

Just spoke to Skoda, and they have said that it could change again, but factory closed at the moment.

I will still have a car, but I dont want to pay my sept finance payment. IF I have to keep the car, I will make Skoda pay for the extra road tax, and if I need tryes etc, they will be getting the bill.

Skoda were very apologietic, and did say that once I have the car, they will look to compensate me, so thats ok.

I jsut want the car so that I can drive it.

Mine came early.

They held it for me..for 6 weeks!!
