Hi my father has bought "Skoda Yeti Crossover 2.0 TDI CR 110 SE 2WD 5dr" i was on the phone to him askin how his new motor was and he gave it the thumbs up but he said one thing concerns me the little side lights are on he discribed it like how a volvo has its little side lights on i said ill find out if this is a option to switch them off or are they on all time...help

They are DRL's, Daytime Running Lights.

They are always on.

There is a whole thread here - incorrectly headed DLR - where there is a lot of dicussion on the subject. Both Pro and Con.

Tell your Father he made a good choice - he will get to really enjoy his Snow Monster - and the lights makles it rather distinctive looking :wonder:

This should answer the question, assuming your Yeti doesn't have a trip computer:

Deactivate function daylight driving lights

– Pull the turn signal light lever towards the steering wheel up to 3

seconds after switching on the ignition and at the same time, slide it to

the bottom and hold it in this position for at least 3 seconds.

hi mbrock does that disable the "DRL" for good or is there a way to activate them again..
