Mon ami has had an Octavia for a few years and he and I have been very impressed with it although I am slightly bored when he quotes his mpg to 1 or 2 decimal places !

Want to challenge his 1.9 PD figures.

Time to change faithful cougar 2.5 V6 at 30 mpg.but as I don`t do mega miles and like cruising( if you pardon the expression) fuel not too much of an issue.

Minor dillemma over Petrol / Diesel I don`t really do the mileage to justify the diesel but I do like the torque and mpg characteristics of diesel esp as we do a lot of K`s in Francewhere diesel is cheaper over there.

Don`t like DPF thought.

Not tried the new TSI engines.

Hope buy September .
